A single word can mean a hundred things,
Beware of tones and context too.
Can be as empty as a thousand myths,
When judged by many skeptics and their view.
A word can make or break a day, a few,
Can be a helpful hint in many games.
A bunch of words can certainly pursue
Or kill the deepest love between two flames.
A word can fuel emotion, in some empty hearts,
Or can indeed make silence easier to bear.
Some words can paint surreal in the world of arts,
While others, just embarrass if you share.
Those words we throw at others in despair,
When hurt we feel and felt so many times.
They always come and haunt us, so prepare,
Like boomerangs, returning in our lives.
By word of mouth or gossip, we all heard,
A million rumors 'bout respectful men.
Yet just a few distinguish from the herd,
Wisely deciding who to trust and when.
Man of his word, integrity is rare today,
And handshake deals are utterly outdated.
Those days are now long gone and far away,
Virtues like honor and transparency have faded.
All words are free, but watch how they are crafted,
At times, too many can surely cause distress.
And if you miss keywords cause you're distracted,
The price is yours to pay nevertheless!
A penny for a word - the beggar's chant,
More pennies, dimes, or lucky coins to spare.
Smiles, praise, and blessings he will surely grant,
Believe his words or not, he will not care!
Some words expressed in numbers make you rich,
A chance at wheel of fortune they can bring.
With words, a skillful salesman builds his pitch,
And golden words sell almost anything.
A writer's word can lie to us indeed,
They only aim to make the story epic.
A politician's word - an evil weed,
Unless they truly mean and follow the word: ''ethic''.
A word is born if seeds of thoughts are planted,
Watch out for nasty spam ones, they invade.
Dear child, do not take any word for granted,
With calm and patience, analyze your trade.
The words you speak the most can well define you.
Our brains are ruthless judges when it comes
To place a label, criticize, and argue,
Only in actions can we hear the loudest drums!
Our brains are flawed, yet agile to detect
The flaws in other people; they align
Our egos hurt, a mirroring effect.
Red buttons pushed by mean words we design.
Kind words and attitude can persuade.
Examples lead if only based on facts.
Imposing words can trigger sharpest blade.
Just pointless wars and battles, it enacts.
Healing can come from words that are enchanted,
Dark wizards only use them in reverse.
Awareness is the consciousness expanded,
And ignorance's a word that make things worse!
