The trapper

Once upon my countless travels,

Very close I lived that time,

To a crude and greenish forest,

As the spring was not yet prime.

Noon it was, I do remember,

Cause I planned my walk indeed,

To feel warm and graced by amber,

Sun to touch my soul and feed.

Cautiously, my steps I minded,

Deep, black mud and wet, dead leaves,

Edgy rocks like traps for blinded,

Underneath have swept like thieves.

So the deeper went I wander,

In this new Bavarian tale,

Had my brain begun to ponder:

"Is there mystery on this trail?"

Curious, my eyes have wondered,

All those pines! So tall, so straight!

Is there any force that plundered

Joyful years, and turned to fate?

Any force that feeds in daylight,

With those horrors, blood and tears,

Altering the soul and sunlight,

Stealing humans and their years.

Oh! Such haunting thought at midday?!

So macabre, weird, grotesque,

Free the mind from it and portray

Nature's beauty, picturesque!

So, the second I've quit thinking,

And I looked away from fear,

Eye to eye, no room for blinking,

As this creature stood so near.

Did I stop again to figure,

Frozen as an iceberg mold,

Is this thing a real trigger?

Let the darkest thought unfold!

''Trapper, Trapper, he's the one!''

Did I dare to scream out loud?

''Trapper, Trapper, should I run?''

He kept staring, and so proud!

Oh, you are the charming icon!

Cemelonic daylight poser,

You're the mean, embodied terror,

Composed, quiet like a python!

You're the beast who strikes in daylight,

Sucking dreams and pure, plain souls,

You're the king of fear in Twilight,

And the despot of dark goals.

You! Abundant is your patience,

Legendary thirst for blood,

Trophy killer, shadowed substance,

Your hands, dirtier than mud!

You! Your eyes are leaking cancer,

No teardrop, emotion ticking,

Murderous, revenge enhancer,

Calouslly, all evil seeking.

You! Malignant, wicked master!

Have you ever met your shadow...?

In the peak of a disaster...

Did you feel a soothing wind blow?

Shall they be a peaceful pastor?

Daydreaming beside a meadow?!

Or the light pervading faster,

Morning hope and brightest day glow.
